Work Experience

HQ Air Cadets is arranging an increasing number of Work Experience Courses.

The courses are primarily aimed at air cadets considering a career in the RAF. The current offer of courses are as follows:

a. Aero Systems Operator (ASOp)

b. AvMTS (Avionics Mech)

c. PEd Officer/PTI

d. Non-Commissioned Aircrew (NCA)

e. Air Traffic Control/Flt Ops

g. RAF Police

The next tranche of courses will include Logistics (Catering) Logistics (Supply),Logistics (Movements Controller), CIS Eng (IT) and General Engineering. Dates and eligibility requirements for these courses will be announced when they are confirmed.

Educational qualifications will be required for courses involving commissioned branches and NCA. At all courses, cadets will be given the opportunity to attempt the RAF Fitness Test to check their own level of fitness; cadets applying for the PEd course should have a good level of fitness and a natural aptitude for sports.
