About 90 Squadron
90 (Speke) Sqn is part of the Air Training Corps or more commonly known as the Air Cadets. It is in the Wales and West region andmakes up another 30 squadrons to form the Merseyside wing. We have always carried and used our Squadron motto to define how we perform in all sorts of competitions such as drill , athletics, shooting and many more. Naturally our Sqn motto is “Exceed." - this is what we strive to do in absolutely everything we do.
We take part in several activities every year, and generally succeed in all. Throughout the year, there will be frequent opportunities to experience the life on a military base, go flying, fire live ammunition and compete in sports competitions. You may also have the chance to spend a week working with the Royal Air Force.
90 Speke Squadron is famous for its sporting achievements, and we continue to aim for even better results. We have great interest from around the city, and so far have around 50 cadets that parade each night. We give cadets a large range of activities to choose from to suit everyone's interests and we strive to keep you interested throughout your cadet life, introducing new activities and schedules.
